Wellness Place is a charitable 501(c)3 organization. All programs and services are 100% gift funded and able to be offered at no charge through generous donations, grants, and fundraising event proceeds.

Events are an important part of the overall fundraising efforts at Wellness Place, resulting in nearly half of dollars raised throughout the year. Proceeds are generated through sponsorship, live auction, raffle, and ticket sales. Four events are produced annually to support programs at Wellness Place. 4th Annual Wellness Place Community Cancer Walk/Run - Sun, May 19, 2013 at The Arboretum of S Barrington

This event includes a 1M walk/5K run, kids games and remembrance ceremony, and will kick off with registration at 8am on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at The Arboretum of S Barrington. Help us celebrate cancer survivors and all those who have been touched by cancer! Raise Awareness; Celebrate Survivors; Remember Loved Ones!

SEA Blue Prostate Cancer Walk/Run - Sun, Sept 16, 2012

The 8th Annual SEA Blue Prostate Cancer Walk/Run occurs in September in Lincoln Park at the corner of Clark and LaSalle near the Lincoln Park Zoo. Activities for the day include 1M walk and 5K run to raise awareness about prostate cancer; participant t-shirt; PSA testing; and lunch buffet. Sponsor opportunities are available.
