Events
Wellness Place is a charitable 501(c)3 organization. All programs and services are 100% gift funded and able to be offered at no charge through generous donations, grants, and fundraising event proceeds.
Events are an important part of the overall fundraising efforts at Wellness Place, resulting in nearly half of dollars raised throughout the year. Proceeds are generated through sponsorship, live auction, raffle, and ticket sales. Four events are produced annually to support programs at Wellness Place. Wellness Place Auxiliary Gala - Oct 8, 2011
The 2011 Wellness Place Auxiliary Gala is on Saturday, October 8 at the Art Institute of Chicago. Tickets are $250 per person for the full evening event or $100 per person for the "After Party" starting at 9pm. Full ticket purchase includes dinner, auction, raffle and After Party. Post-dinner After Party includes light desserts, cocktails, live entertainment and dancing. Sponsorships are available.

3rd Annual Wellness Place Community Cancer Walk/Run
This event includes a 3k walk/5K "fun" run, kids games and remembrance ceremony, and will kick off with registration at 8am on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Harper College in Palatine. Help us celebrate cancer survivors and all those who have been touched by cancer! Raise Awareness; Celebrate Survivors; Remember Loved Ones!
Wellness Challenge Golf Outing - Thurs, July 28, 2011
The 13th Annual Wellness Challenge is set for Thursday, July 28, 2010 at Twin Orchard Country Club in Long Grove, IL. Fee is $550 per golfer; Dinner only is $100 per person. Registration includes brunch with beverages throughout the day; green fees and cart; and cocktail reception and dinner. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
SEA Blue Prostate Cancer Walk/Run - Sept 18, 2011
The 7th Annual SEA Blue Prostate Cancer Walk/Run occurs in September in Lincoln Park at the corner of Clark and LaSalle near the Lincoln Park Zoo. Activities for the day include 3K walk and 5K run to raise awareness about prostate cancer; participant t-shirt; Jesse White Tumblers Performance; PSA testing; and lunch buffet. Sponsor opportunities are available.
