We are open Monday and Thursday from 9am – 5pm; Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am - 7pm. Please see our calendar for a full calendar listing. We are also open during evening workshops and presentations and after-hour individual counseling is available. We are not affiliated with any one hospital however, we do partner regularly on programming and workshops. Our services are meant to complement the medical community recommendations for cancer care.May I tip a mind, body, spirit practitioner?
We prefer that you don’t. They are professional volunteers and ask that you show your gratitude by making a contribution to Wellness Place via the donation boxes located throughout the house.Do you utilize volunteers?
Yes, we have nearly 150 volunteers at Wellness Place who provide help and support with administrative, outreach, and fundraising events. Some volunteers help on a regular basis and others only once a year, depending upon needs and availability. High School students and senior citizens are encouraged to contact us for openings.What kind of counseling is available at Wellness Place?

Wellness Place offers programs and services for all cancer types. We have a lending library with books, cd’s, periodicals. We also have clinical oncology specialists on staff who have experience with most cancers. Additionally, if you go to our homepage under the EDUCATION button, you will see a link to a site for specific cancer type research.How can I make a donation?

We are at 1619 W Colonial Pkwy in Palatine, Illinois. Our office is in the Williamsburg Office Park where Euclid meets Roselle Road, directly across the street from Harper College.Are the specialists trained to know the disease process with cancer?
We have specialists at Wellness Place with extensive oncology backgrounds who are versed in many cancers. We also have professionals who specialize in children and adolescents; spirituality; grief and bereavement; and caregiver support.Is there a charge for services?
It is part of our mission to offer all programs and services to participants at no charge. We are a 501c3 charitable organization and 100% donation driven. Funds are acquired through individual donations, event fundraisers, grants, and corporate sponsorship.Is Wellness Place a handicapped accessible location?
We have a ramp for our front door but do not have an elevator to reach our lower level for programming. Most programs and services are offered on the main floor.What insurance do you take?
Our services are considered non-medical and offered without charge—no insurance is necessary.Can we register for programs online?
