Sitting in the first Pediatric Cancer Parent Support Group was amazing to me, and helpful in the fact that I was also able to help other people. Most of the parents there were dealing with leukemia, except for one who was dealing with brain cancer. My heart went out to this mom. With leukemia you pretty much know the path you will take. Her path though, was so unknown and unchartered.

Nate attends Art Therapy and Healing Touch. Anything to help him get through this difficult journey is very helpful. If I'm in need of a massage, yoga, support, therapy...it's all right there. We worry enough about how we will pay for this and that... insurance is covering less and less these days. It's comforting to know that Wellness Place is there for us at no charge.”
